Wentworth Park: Friends of Wentworth Park

The Friends of Wentworth Park Society (FWPS) is a non-profit stewardship organization run by an eleven-member Board of Directors consisting of volunteer citizens of the Cape Breton Regional Municipality (CBRM).

In the spring of 2005, the FWPS undertook the initiative to oversee the revitalization of Wentworth Park - a key greenspace located in the core of the CBRM. With a mission to develop, promote and sustain Wentworth Park as "the People's Park" the FWPS have been active in laying the foundation for future re-development plans.
